John jay was founded in 1964 and has been staying still since then. John Jay is a college within CUNY which is City College of New York. Some famous alumni who went to this school are Eric Adams & Borough president of Brooklyn, Edward Thomas Brady , trial attorney and former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of North Carolina, Jennings Michael Burch, author of the 1984 best-selling memoir "They Cage the Animals at Night", Marcos Crespo, New York State Assemblyman representing district 85, Edward A. Flynn, Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department, and Petri Hawkins-Byrd , Judge Judy bailiff. They are known for the great Criminal Justice program. The mascot for John Jay is the bloodhounds and their colors are blue and gold. This is a four year school and very fun.
